Clans

Clans

Clans are your team on Starvel. Join up with friends to explore together, visit each other's dungeons, chat privately, teleport to each other, and take on the Dragon Raid.

Creating a Clan

Creating a clan costs 500 shards (one-time). You become the clan Owner.

1. Type /clan to open the Clan menu
2. Click the Create Clan button
3. Type your clan name in chat

Your clan can have up to 30 members.

Inviting Players

Only the clan Owner can invite players.

/clan invite <player> — sends a clickable invite in chat
The invited player has 60 seconds to accept before the invite expires

Clan Menu (/clan)

Open it anytime with /clan. When you're in a clan, you'll see:

All members displayed as player heads, sorted by dungeon level and gold
Hover over a head to see their name, dungeon level, gold, rank, and when they were last online
Click a head to open actions (visit their dungeon, and more if you're the Owner)

Clan Features

Nametag Colors

Once you're in a clan, player names above heads change color:

Aqua — players in your clan
Red — everyone else

Your Echo companion's name label follows the same colors. This makes it easy to spot your clanmates in the world.

Clan Chat

Talk privately with your clan:

/cc — toggle clan chat mode (only you and your clanmates see messages)
/global — switch back to normal chat

When you enter clan chat, the last 24 hours of clan messages are replayed so you can catch up on what you missed.

Teleporting to Clanmates

Teleportation only works between clanmates:

/tpa <player> — request to teleport to a clanmate
/tpahere <player> — request a clanmate to teleport to you
/tpaccept — accept a teleport request
/tpdeny — deny a teleport request

Visiting Dungeons

Want to check out a clanmate's dungeon? You can visit through the Clan menu:

1. Open /clan
2. Click a clanmate's head
3. Click Visit Dungeon

While visiting, you can open doors but cannot open chests or interact with anything else. To return to your own dungeon, type /home.

If you log out while visiting, you'll be teleported back to your own dungeon when you log in again.

Message of the Day (MOTD)

The clan Owner can set a message that all members see when they log in:

/clan motd <message> — set or update the clan MOTD

Clan Leaderboard

Clans are ranked on the leaderboard by the combined dungeon levels and gold of all members. Check the seasonal leaderboard to see where your clan stands.

Dragon Raid

Clans unlock the Dragon Raid — an exclusive boss fight against the Ender Dragon! The clan Owner starts the raid, members join during a recruitment window, and everyone is teleported into a dedicated arena. Defeat the dragon together for shared rewards. One raid per clan every 24 hours.

/dragonraid start — Owner starts a raid
/dragonraid join — join your clan's active raid
/dragonraid info — check raid status or cooldown

Owner Commands

Only the clan Owner can use these:

/clan invite <player> — Invite a player to the clan
/clan kick <player> — Remove a member from the clan
/clan promote <player> — Transfer ownership to another member
/clan motd <message> — Set the clan's login message
/clan disband — Delete the clan permanently

Member Commands

/clan — Open the Clan menu
/clan leave — Leave your clan
/cc — Toggle clan chat
/global — Switch back to global chat
/tpa <player> — Request teleport to a clanmate
/tpahere <player> — Ask a clanmate to teleport to you
/tpaccept — Accept a teleport request
/tpdeny — Deny a teleport request

Good to Know

Clans persist across seasons — your clan, members, and ownership carry over
Leaving a clan teleports you back to your own dungeon for safety
You can only be in one clan at a time
Creating a clan is permanent — the 500 shard cost is not refunded if you disband
