Seasons & Leagues

Seasons and Leagues

Minestria runs on a seasonal cycle. Each season lasts about one month. When a season ends, dungeons, gold, and most progress are wiped — but your prestige, shards, clans, and progression gear carry over. Seasons keep the game fresh and give everyone a fair shot at climbing the leaderboard.

HOW SEASONS WORK

Each season is a complete cycle of play. You start with a fresh dungeon, a starting gold balance, and an empty ender chest. From there, you expand your dungeon, raid other players for hearts, clear rifts, run expeditions, and build up your gear.

At the end of the season, players are ranked on the leaderboard. Top players earn prestige — a permanent stat that makes you slightly stronger in every future season. Then everything resets and the next season begins.

WHAT GETS WIPED

Dungeons — Your entire dungeon is deleted. You start over with a new base room.
Gold — Your gold balance resets to the starting 1,000.
Ender chest — Emptied completely.
Auction House listings — All active listings and collection bin items are cleared.
Expedition state — Any active or pending expeditions are reset.

WHAT STAYS

Shards — Your shard balance is permanent and never wiped.
Prestige — Permanent. Accumulates across all seasons.
Clans — Your clan, members, and clan chat history persist.
Daily login streak — Carries over between seasons.
APEX rank — Permanent.
Progression gear — Armor, weapons, tools, gems, upgrade cores, keys, and scrolls that are in your inventory at season end are saved and restored when the new season starts.

GEAR CARRYOVER

At the end of each season, the items in your inventory are checked against a whitelist. Progression items are saved and given back to you when the new season begins:

Saved: Armor, weapons, tools, shields, elytra, gems, upgrade cores, extraction scrolls, rift keys, trial keys, expedition scrolls.

Not saved: Raw materials, blocks, food, potions, mob drops — anything that could give an unfair economic advantage in the new season.

Important: Only items in your inventory are saved. Items in chests, ender chests, or on the ground are lost.

Make sure your best gear is on you or in your inventory when the season ends.

THE LEADERBOARD

The seasonal leaderboard ranks all players by a composite score. Your score is calculated from four stats:

Hearts stolen — The primary ranking factor. Every raid you win adds to this. Weighted heavily.
Dungeon level — Higher dungeon level adds to your score.
Rift clears — Every rift you complete adds to your score.
Gold balance — Your current gold contributes a smaller amount to the score.

Hearts stolen is by far the most important stat. Raiding aggressively and winning is the fastest way to climb the leaderboard.

Check your rank with /season. View the full leaderboard with /leaderboard or /season top. Use /season stats to see a breakdown of your individual stats.

The leaderboard has two tabs: Player rankings and Clan rankings. Clan score is the combined score of all clan members.

PRESTIGE

Prestige is the long-term progression system. It's permanent, accumulates across every season, and gives you a small but meaningful advantage.

At the end of each season, your leaderboard rank determines how much prestige you earn:

1st place — 10 prestige
2nd to 3rd — 7 prestige
4th to 10th — 5 prestige
11th to 25th — 3 prestige
26th to 50th — 2 prestige
51st to 100th — 1 prestige
Below 100th — 0 prestige

Prestige applies the same base amounts regardless of which league you're in.

Each prestige point gives you +0.25% to your Dungeon Master's HP and damage, and +0.25% to your shard generation rate. At 100 prestige, that's a 25% bonus. At 500 prestige, it's 125%.

The bonus is small per point but compounds over many seasons. Veteran players who've been playing for months or years have a noticeable edge.

Season Gem Rewards: Players with prestige also receive pre-rolled 1-star gems at the start of each new season. You get one gem for every 2 prestige points (rounded down). These are claimed through a GUI that appears automatically when you first join the new season.

LEAGUES

Minestria has six league tiers based on prestige:

Bronze — 0 to 49 prestige
Silver — 50 to 99 prestige
Gold — 100 to 149 prestige
Platinum — 150 to 249 prestige
Diamond — 250 to 499 prestige
Legend — 500+ prestige

Your league is determined automatically. You cannot choose which league you're in.

How League Assignment Works

New players always start in Bronze.

At the end of each season, players are redistributed:
Top 50% of a league are promoted to the next league up
Middle 50% to 75% stay in their current league
Bottom 25% are demoted to the league below

However, there's a prestige floor that prevents you from dropping too low:
50+ prestige — Can never drop below Silver
100+ prestige — Can never drop below Gold
150+ prestige — Can never drop below Platinum
250+ prestige — Can never drop below Diamond
500+ prestige — Can never drop below Legend

This means once you accumulate enough prestige, you're locked into a minimum league tier permanently.

What Leagues Mean

Higher leagues have tougher competition. The players in Gold, Platinum, and Diamond have more prestige, more experience, and stronger starting bonuses than Bronze players.

When you connect to the server, you're automatically routed to the server matching your assigned league. You don't choose — it's automatic based on your league tier.

The leaderboard in each league only shows players in that same league. You compete against players at a similar level.

SEASONAL TIMELINE

A typical season flows like this:

Season start: Everyone gets a fresh dungeon, starting gold, and any carried-over gear. The race begins.

Early season: Focus on expanding your dungeon, building up hearts through raids, and gearing up. Common and Uncommon rifts are your main income.

Mid season: Serious competition begins. Players with strong golems raid aggressively. Epic and Legendary rifts become worthwhile. Auction House activity peaks.

Late season: Leaderboard positions solidify. Top players push for every heart they can steal. Final prestige rankings are determined.

Season end: Prestige is awarded based on final rankings. Gear in inventories is saved. Everything else is wiped. The next season begins.

TIPS

Raid early and often. Hearts stolen is the biggest factor in your leaderboard rank. Don't wait until you have perfect gear — start raiding as soon as you hit dungeon level 5.

Keep your best gear in your inventory at season end. Anything in chests is lost. Your +7 Netherite Sword with gems is worth carrying over.

Prestige compounds. Even earning 1 to 3 prestige per season adds up. After 10 seasons, a consistent player has meaningful stat bonuses.

Don't ignore rifts. They're worth less than raids on the leaderboard, but they give you shards, cores, and gems that make you stronger for raiding.

Check /season stats regularly to see where you stand and which stats you could improve.

Clan leaderboard matters too. If your clan is competitive, coordinate raids and rift runs to push your combined score.

The prestige floor is your safety net. Once you hit 50 prestige, you'll never drop below Silver regardless of how a season goes.
